Lady

Meet Lady.

Lady is a roughly 3 year old, 35lb, small pity mix who came to us after her previous owners moved out of state and left her behind. Being a small pity mix means she has lots of energy and even more love to give. She has been started in her basic obedience, house, crate, and public exposure training. She struggles the most with reigning in her excitement around new people/critters. For this reason we would not deem her safe off leash around small critters/cats. She has been around small children (under the age of 3) and has been absolutely wonderful with them. Her only fault with children is that over-excitement, which causes her to accidentally bump into or step on them sometimes. Lady is slightly fearful of unfamiliar men, but warms up quickly with some treats and/or a good game of fetch. She loves to play with the other dogs, but can be a bit too rough when over-excited.

Lady is smart, overly affectionate pup that is extremely eager to please and loves any kind of dog toy. Unfortunately she has some pretty rough skin allergies that we work diligently to manage. She will need supplementation and possibly medication long term for them. Other than that, she is a happy, healthy, playful little dog who is looking for her forever home.
