Group Classes

With our group classes, you and your canine companion have the opportunity to work with a skilled trainer and others who want to improve their dog’s behavior/training. Working in a group takes away from the constant one-on-one attention that private classes provide. However, it allows you and your trainer to improve your dog's ability to work with distractions and provides a community of people all striving to do the same. These classes are cost-effective options for anyone looking to improve their dog’s quality of life. Extremely reactive or aggressive dogs are not allowed in group classes. We suggest private classes until the dog is safe to be integrated into group sessions. All participants must meet with us for their free consultation before attending their first class.
Our only currently running group class is our Mixed Group Class which we host on our property in Mims, FL most Saturdays from 10 am to 12 pm. If you are interested in any of our more specialized classes, contact us to join a waitlist. We require a minimum of 3 dogs to reserve spots in a specialized class before we start hosting one.

Beginner
Mixed Group ($35)
Welcome to our mixed class! You will find a variety of ages, breeds, and sports. These classes are mainly for building social skills, focus, and exposure. Most of all, these classes are for building or repairing your relationship with your dog. You will find excited puppies, working protection and service dogs, energetic sport dogs, and everything in between. Come have a day of fun with your pup and leave with new skills to help in all aspects of your dog's training.
Beginner
Themed Mixed Group ($35)
These classes are an extension of our regular Mixed-Group and happen once a month to celebrate a specific holiday or event with a corresponding photoshoot.
Beginner
Puppy Boot Camp ($30)
Puppy boot camp is for dogs 4 to 6 months old. These classes focus on setting the foundation for you to build on for your dog’s future training or activities and are $30 a class. Puppy classes focus on the main basic obedience commands (sit, down, recall, loose leash walking) along with building the dog’s social skills and their confidence.
Beginner
Basic Obedience ($35)
Our basic obedience classes for any dog 6 months and older who have little to no training. These classes focus on the basic obedience commands in their entirety. This includes sit, down, recall, up, down, wait, leash walking, heel, socializing, and leave it.
Intermediate
Intermediate Obedience ($35)
Our intermediate obedience briefly covers beginner obedience training and increases distraction levels. Dogs are introduced into dog friendly public areas, begin off leash training, learn and the commands: give, over, under, through, place, touch, paw, center, and right side heel.
Advanced
Advanced Obedience ($35)
Our advanced obedience classes are to take your dog from great on leash, to perfect off leash. We spend these classes working on your dog's ability to follow all their commands off leash and in new environments. These classes are often held off site in local parks or at local pet stores. When in public the dogs must remain on their long line but on property we are able to truly test your dogs off leash skills!
Intermediate
Service Dog Obedience ($40)
Our service dog obedience classes are almost exclusively done in public. During these classes we focus on tasks, behavioral difficulties (wanting to sniff everyone, difficulty navigating crowds, etc.) and any obedience difficulties you may have. These classes are kept small, limited to 5 people maximum, because we want to ensure you and your SDiT are comfortable. We highly encourage anyone with a service dog to attend at least one class every three months to ensure their service dog does not develop any issues.
Advanced
Protection ($40)
Our protection classes are great for anyone who is looking to build their dogs bite, drive, targeting, and obedience in a protection based setting, as well as many other things. Here we are working on turning your dog into the sport dog or true protector you want.
Beginner
Agility ($35)
Want to learn a fun sport that is great exercise for your dog? These classes will introduce you to the exciting world of agility. During class you can expect to tackle the teeter totter, scale the A-frame, or fly over jumps, and so much more. These classes require no experience and you will find a group of people all looking to improve their dog’s mental and physical health.

Scent Detection ($40)
Learn a new skill and teach your dog a great brain teaser in our scent detection classes. In these classes you will learn to odor imprint, build an alert, and begin working with blanks. Upon completion of these classes you are encouraged to join the advanced obedience group classes and begin working the scent in public settings. Private classes are also beneficial as we are able to focus completely on any specific needs your dog may have.

Tracking ($40)
Learn a new skill and teach your dog a great brain teaser in our tracking classes. In these classes we will teach you and your dog how to pick up a scent, how to lay a track, how to properly reward, how to build on small, simple tracks, and how to phase out any tools used to help the dog. Upon completion of these classes, we encourage you to join our advanced obedience group to begin taking these new skills into more difficult environments. Private classes are also beneficial as we are able to focus completely on any specific needs your dog may have.
