Athena

Athena is a spunky and fun little girl. She has the drive and desire to do anything you want to point her at. We evaluated her as a possible service dog candidate and she passed, the only thing she didn’t get high marks with was small children. She didn’t show fear of them, but was definitely confused. Her desire to learn is only outweighed by her overwhelming excitement at doing absolutely anything. She could use some behavior modification to help bring her natural baseline down a bit since she currently runs at 110% at all times. With that and some basic obedience, she could make anyone a wonderful pet. We think she would do well in anything including dock diving, fast cat, rally, trick training, or service work. We did not asses her for protection, but I wouldn’t rule it out as a possibility. She crates well, but does require either a sturdy crate or extra clips on a wire crate because as soon as she realizes she can break out, she will. This girl is going to make someone a very fun new companion and will give her heart and soul to anything you want to accomplish.
