History:
Hebe has been with me for the majority of her life. I bred her parents with the intention of training and selling her litter as various working dog prospects. I unexpectedly became pregnant myself within a month of her birth and was not able to dedicate the resources that I normally would towards raising/training/marketing her litter. However, she is crate trained, knows her basic obedience, and has dabbled in the PSA world. In May of last year, she was adopted, but returned to us after her adopter said she was struggling to form a bond with her and was no longer interested in pursuing PSA with her. She has lived with us since. The majority of our regular training with her has focused on impulse control as she has an extremely high drive for toys and bitework. Anyone interested in her will have to be willing to undergo a criminal background check.
Ideal Home:
Hebe is looking for a working home. She is not an average household pet. Ideally she would join a police department or live as a protection dog. Despite her age, we think she would make an excellent single purpose K9 prospect. She has an aptitude for tracking and a crazy amount of confidence. She is not friendly with other dogs when off leash (on leash she is neutral around other dogs), so she would have to be in a single dog home or be housed separately at all times. She is safe around my toddler, but does not spend much time casually within the home because she struggles with settling down. She loves spending time exploring our large yard. She has not been cat tested and would not be considered safe around small animals off-leash.
Personality:
She has an intense toy drive and will walk all over anyone who does not set appropriate boundaries with her. She is extremely affectionate with her chosen people, but could not care less about strangers.
