Lady

This cute little bundle of fun is Lady. Lady is around two years old, though we aren’t completely sure due to her being a surrendered foster with very little known history. She is 35lbs of fun and games. Being a small pity mix means she has lots of energy and even more love to give. She has been started in her basic obedience, house training, crate training, and public exposure. Lady is fearful of unfamiliar men, but warms up quickly with some treats and a good game of fetch. She loves to play with the other dogs, but can be a bit too rough sometimes because she gets overly excited. We are still working with her on her confidence issues and all her obedience training, but Lady would make someone a very fun pet. She is smart and loves to work for a treat or toy. She loves to play and loves even more to be scratched and loved on. She is still learning not to grab hands and clothes when she’s overly excited, but she has made lots of improvement since she first came home. Unfortunately Lady does have some pretty rough skin allergies. We have worked diligently to help her skin recover since her latest flare up, but she will need supplementation and possibly medication long term for them. Other than that, little lady is a happy, healthy, playful little dog who is looking to go home with her new family. She has been around small children (under the age of 3) and has been absolutely wonderful with them. Her only fault with children is her over excitement, which causes her to accidentally bump into or step on them sometimes. She is NOT currently safe to be loose with small animals such as cats, rabbits, or squirrels. We are still working on this with her but as of right now, she would not be suited to go into a home with loose cats. Lady will come with 10 FREE (location dependent)  training sessions for her and her new owner after adoption. If you are looking for a lively new family member with lots of love to give, let us know!
